GIULIO MALINVERNI

Giulio's stylistic code is characterized by a careful diversification of the elements that compose his artworks as well as of the painting techniques.

His works mainly represent landscapes, natural elements such as fire and rain, architectural structures and human figures that interact within the composition, not only to respond to stylistic needs, but also to question the observer on the intrinsic relationships between them, transporting these reflections from the dreamlike and unconscious dimension of the painting to that of reality.

We can also find images and tributes to the history of art like Renaissance landscapes, the metaphysical architectures of De Chirico and surrealist elements.

The supports, surfaces, colors and subjects represented charge Giulio's works with meaning and mystery, giving each work a well-defined identity, which makes it unique and peculiar of its kind.

IN DETAIL
A very intimate, personal vision of painting emerges from Giulio's works, as if the compositions came to life from the artist's unconscious and not necessarily from a dialogue with the outside world. The tradition, which emerges from the techniques and iconography the artist uses, plays a central role in Giulio's compositions, reinterpreting it in a post-modern key.
