DO YOU HAVE TO PAY TO BECOME YAS ARTISTS?

Absolutely not! The YAS curatorial team provide an invite only to selected artists, usually after a studio visit and/or an attentive evaluation of the artworks/performance.

DO YOU PROMOTE THIS POLICY?

We do not promote the politics of vanity galleries and those who ask for a payment merely to expose or emerge, we are against this kind of activity and would like to offer an alternative to this through the curatorial support and remuneration for the artists that we will invite to exhibit in physical places.

YAS proposes the payment of services required to pay the people and professionals who provide the services/collaborate and make the project sustainable.

WHY DO YOU DEFINE THE PROJECT AS AN AGENCY?

We define as an agency to put the emphasis on the economic aspect understood as possibilities of sustainability for artists and professionals who collaborate in the field of contemporary arts and with YAS.

We are also interested in the reference to the etymology of the word, that is coming from the Latin verb agō, that reference to the idea of action and movement towards something.


HOW DO YOU SUPPORT THE ARTISTS?

Giving them space on our social networks and on our website, proposing their work to the collectors with whom we interact, offering specific services, listening and dedication, planning together.

DO YOU WORK ONLY WITH PAINTERS?

No and not only, but we find very interesting the current moment that is living the painting and the ability of the artist to face the contemporary through this medium.




Quest’area del progetto è ancora in fase di avviamento e sviluppo eppure ci teniamo molto e pensiamo sia rappresentativa del nostro percorso lavorativo e degli obiettivi futuri di YAS.

Non è un mistero infatti che stiamo lavorando sulla struttura organizzativa per puntare al sogno di un centro culturale in cui proporre mostre, eventi, concerti, iniziative, dj set, proiezioni che possano contribuire ulteriormente al supporto allǝ artistǝ con cui collaboriamo.

In questo senso, siamo anche disponibilǝ ad organizzare eventi su richiesta.

Ci piacerebbe moltissimo poi, se almeno una parte della programmazione fosse frutto di una condivisione progettuale con altre persone, organizzazioni, realtà, professionistǝ e con lǝ artistǝ stessǝ.

Rimane aperta e permanente la call che abbiamo lanciato qualche tempo fa in questo senso.

-CHE GENERE DI EVENTI ORGANIZZATE?


Grazie alla nostra esperienza siamo in grado di organizzare mostre, concerti, dj set, incontri, proiezioni ed eventi su richiesta.


-C’È UN CRITERIO CON CUI ORGANIZZATE?


Sì la cosa importante che contraddistingue tutto quello che facciamo è il criterio della qualità della proposta, anche in caso di commissioni.




-COME SI DIVENTA PARTNER E PERCHÉ?


Si può diventare partner inviandoci una mail e richiedendo un incontro, la questione determinante per diventare partner sarà avere lo stesso asset valoriale, avanzare proposte di qualità e lavorare nell’ottica di collaborazione/cooperazione comune.


-QUALI SONO LE FINALITÀ DI QUESTO NETWORK?  


Ci piacerebbe creare una rete autentica che possa promuovere il supporto reciproco, la preservazione e la creazione di rapporti di cura e relazioni anche tra chi lavora nel settore artistico-culturale.

Iniziando con la concretezza dell’esserci, rispondendo sempre a richieste ed e-mail, cercando di relazionarci sempre con professionalità e coerenza.
