ARTISTS

DO I NEED TO PAY TO BECOME YAS ARTIST?

Absolutely not! The YAS curatorial team provide an invite only to selected artists, usually after a studio visit and/or an attentive evaluation of the artworks/performance.

DO YOU PROMOTE THIS POLICY?

We do not promote the politics of vanity galleries and those who ask for a payment merely to expose or emerge, we are against this kind of activity and would like to offer an alternative to this through the curatorial support and remuneration for the artists that we will invite to exhibit in physical places.

YAS proposes the payment of services required to pay the people and professionals who provide the services/collaborate and make the project sustainable.

WHY DO YOU DEFINE THE PROJECT AS AN AGENCY?

We define as an agency to put the emphasis on the economic aspect understood as possibilities of sustainability for artists and professionals who collaborate in the field of contemporary arts and with YAS.

We are also interested in the reference to the etymology of the word, that is coming from the Latin verb agō, that reference to the idea of action and movement towards something.


HOW DO YOU SUPPORT THE ARTISTS?

Giving them space on our social networks and on our website, proposing their work to the collectors with whom we interact, offering specific services, listening and dedication, planning together.

DO YOU WORK ONLY WITH PAINTERS?

No and not only, but we find very interesting the current moment that is living the painting and the ability of the artist to face the contemporary through this medium.



COLLECTORS


HOW CAN I BE SURE TO MAKE A GOOD INVESTMENT?

You can’t be 100% sure :) we think it’s more interesting to buy artworks that you like and not only think about the investment.

However, you can bet on the quality of the artistic proposal and be be sure our artists are professionists. Their value will remain stable or increase over time.

WHY SHOULD I USE AN INTERMEDIARY AND NOT CONTACT THE ARTIST DIRECTLY?

Both for those who buy and for those who sell usually the reduction of the cost of eventuals intermediaries and transactions is cheaper, but we think it is more advantageous to rely on YAS because, especially if you are starting a collection, we can assist you with experience in all stages of the purchase of the work, also offering after-sales services that otherwise would not be guaranteed.

The intermediation of YAS is better for the artist in terms of professional management of a transaction and saving time to use to dedicate to their own work.


EVENTS



This area of the project is still in the start-up and development phase but we think it is representative of our career path and for the future goals of YAS team.

In fact, it’w well known that we are working on the structure of an organization to aim to make true our dream of a cultural center with a solid and cool line up of cultural events where make real exhibitions, events, concerts, initiatives, DJ sets, screenings that can further contribute to supporting young artists and those with whom we collaborate.

From this point of view, we are available to organize events on request and we are open to make projects together and share our skills to organize events.

Our call for partners and ideas is always on.


WHAT KIND OF EVENTS DO YOU PROMOTE?

Thanks to our experience we are able to organize exhibitions, concerts, DJ sets, meetings, screenings and events on request.

The important thing is that everything we do has to be based on the quality of the proposal, even in the case of commissions.

You can become a partner by sending us an email with your idea of collaboration.
To become a partner it’s necessary to have the same value asset, making quality proposals and working with a view to common cooperation.

We would like to create an authentic network that can promote mutual support, preservation and the creation of caring relationships.
